Grand Case Harbor

Approaching Grand Case Harbor is generally straightforward in settled weather, with the open anchorage located along Saint Martin's northern French coastline. Mariners should monitor weather forecasts and sea conditions before arrival, as the anchorage is more exposed than Simpson Bay Lagoon or Marigot Harbor. Dinghy access to the beach is convenient, allowing easy access to restaurants, shops, and village amenities.

Grand Case is an open anchorage with no marina facilities. Holding is generally good in suitable weather, although exposure to northerly swells and changing wind conditions should always be considered. Most visiting yachts anchor offshore and use dinghies to reach the beach and waterfront village.

Grand Case itself offers limited marine services, with most repairs, fuel, provisioning, and yacht support available nearby in Marigot Harbor and Simpson Bay Lagoon. This allows cruisers to enjoy Grand Case's relaxed atmosphere while remaining within easy reach of Saint Martin's major boating infrastructure.

Restaurants, cafés, bakeries, small grocery stores, and local shops are all within walking distance of the dinghy landing area. Larger supermarkets, chandlers, fuel docks, and additional provisioning services are available a short drive away in Marigot and elsewhere on Saint Martin.
